Call to Worship: End of the Year Service

As we approach the end of this year, let us intentionally take a moment to reflect on the places and ways that we have grown in 2024. Identify in your mind, a few ways that you have grown in your knowledge, leadership, involvement, faith, relationships, or awareness this year. 

-Moment of silence-

Progress and growth of all shapes and sizes deserve to be recognized and celebrated. May taking time to look back in reflection encourage you and inspire you to ongoing growth and development. 

May we always lean into our growing edges and never become too comfortable or complacent. 

As we look ahead to a new year, may we each be willing to set new goals, find new ways to use our gifts and talents, and be intentional to create new connections in the upcoming year. Let us approach it with a sense of gratitude and a desire to steward the time that we are given in ways that seek to make the world a better place. 

God, guide our words, actions, and use of our time in the new year to love out loud.

Prayer:

God the giver of time, we thank you for the experiences of the past year. We ask you to guide us in the year ahead to grow in our connection with you, with our neighbors, and in the impact that we make on our community. Amen.
