Often after the death of a loved one, empathy is high and the desire to meet physical needs (meals, money, company, etc.) is a more natural response for many. But grief has no timeline and many people who are grieving experience harm, isolation, and feel they are too much for those around them as they continue to grieve for weeks, months and years.
