This resource addresses the disparities for trauma-informed care among individuals of different culture and marginalized people groups. This resource provides a significant number of resources and data with trauma-informed awareness around neurodiversity, LGBTQIA, race, families in the foster care system, incarcerated individuals, immigrants, and refugees.

Trauma Informed Takeaway: One of the most traumatic ways individuals and professionals can approach BIPOC, individuals in the queer community, those of other cultures, those with disabilities, and those experiences traumatic life experiences is to ignore these pieces of them. This is referred to as color blindness when it comes to race- and it is incredibly harmful, communicating shame or less-than attitudes around diversity.
