Holly Madden

Holly Madden is a poet, an artist, a yoga instructor (200 RYT), an advocate and she believes strongly in our connection as humans to one another and to the earth. Rooted in growing up in the Rocky Mountains, she has developed and nurtured a deep passion for the earth and eco-theology. She also has a deep passion for children and families who have experienced trauma.

Alongside Christie Love, Holly helped to found The Connecting Grounds Church in Springfield, Missouri, building and running The Family Connection Program. This program provides support and supervision through the local church for families working towards reunification with their children in the system. This program has expanded across the state of Missouri. She has been recognized for this work in 2023 for the Springfield Business Journal’s 40 under 40 class.

Holly holds a Master’s Degree in Human Services: Grief, Crisis, and Trauma Counseling with an Advanced Adolescent and Child Trauma Treatment Certificate, and is currently pursuing Licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LPC). She is also an artist who holds a certificate in Art Therapy, a Forest Bathing Certificate, and is a 200 Hour Certified Yoga Teacher with a heart to help others access healing through nature, art and movement and to embrace their creativity.

Her partner, Scott and her together have two wonderful, wild children, Elliana and Hudson.
