Calvin Sanders is a Licensed Practical Nurse who has been practicing in the Springfield area for three years. He is an openly queer trans man, who has a passion for de-stigmatizing healthcare services for transgendered and gender nonconforming people, and protecting the rights of both trans youth and trans adults. He plans to return to school and further his education, with goals to pursue a career providing healthcare to the transgender community.

He started his transition in 2021 in the Midwest, and has experienced a complex relationship with the church as a result. Using this experience, he hopes to reduce stigmas around the LGBTQ+ community within the church.

He lives with his partner, Hal, and together they have two cats: Dan and Ronni.
