November 2024 Shelter Instability Workshop
This workshop will be held on Thursday, November 14th at 10 AM CST.
Rev. Dr. Christie Love is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of The Flipped Table Collective. In 2018, she led an effort in Springfield, MO, to plant The Connecting Grounds church, which focused its work with unsheltered individuals in numerous innovative ways, including research and data collection, the creation of an outreach center, street outreach, medical outreach, and the conversion of their church to a full-time transitional housing program. She will talk about trends in shelter instability and policies nationwide and present innovative ways that faith communities can help fill gaps in services and support in their communities.
